Yes. Finished Objects...hard to believe with the way my days have been going, but I have finished a couple things.
First is the Upside-Down Daisy hat from Itty Bitty Hats. I think I made this in the 6-12 month size. It was started before Margaret was born in preparation for our couple weeks of winter here in Gainesville. I finished it a few weeks ago, just never blogged about it. I love how it turned out!
Next up is the sling that I finished yesterday. Margaret so graciously slept in her bed so I could get the sewing done on this. Now I have hands free, so I can get housework done...or work on the wips that are languishing in my knitting baskets.
Here is the Mable dress from Simple Knits for Cherished Babies. This was started in March, intended for Margaret to wear home from the hospital. I am so close to having it done now, only the bodice of the front and the sleeves.
Then we have the various socks-in-progress...from left to right: Estonian Sock from Folk Socks (This was started about 2 years ago...it will get done), Infant's Fancy Silk Sock and Bed Sock in Lemon Pattern both from Knitting Vintage Socks. (BTW, I love Nancy Bush's patterns/books.) The infant sock is done in some yarn that Elisabeth dyed with Kool-ade a couple of years ago. The bed socks were intended for labor & delivery socks...I could of used them too, my feet were so cold, until the nurse gave me wonderful hospital issue slipper socks.
Next in line is the Palette Fair Isle cardigan from KnitPicks. I love this sweater, it will just take me a while to get it done, which is ok because then I can enjoy the process of knitting it. This is knitted in the round with steeks.
And of course there are these unfinished objects...everything else should be on hold till I finish these books and the tests and papers associated with them. All has to be done by June 22nd...
Margaret's appointment went great today, except for the fact that her appointment was really tomorrow...somehow we got into our head that the appointment was on Tuesday and then we never checked the appointment card...they saw us anyway. Margaret is up to 7lbs 11oz and 20 1/4 inches long...she really grew this month. She got her shots and so far the only side effect is sleeping and needing to cuddle.

Clever knitting! Wow! The hat is darling.
What a sweet little baby you have.
mames...ditto on the welcoming! We actually visited San Diego last year and loved it! Did the beach, the mountains, the zoo and Legoland. I took inspiration from a couple places for the sling...and made it my own, it is so wonderful to have now.
